Since we didn't eat our PB and J picnic for lunch, I opted for that for dinner and turned in for an early night. I feel like we've done so many exciting things already - and the best is yet to come! Tomorrow, we meet with a non-profit called "Foundations for Tomorrow," after we work with students at Miracle Corners. On Thursday, we will be visiting the school at Ilkurot (remember the headmaster and 2 teachers from Day 1?) and meeting with some Maasai villagers. There will also be a warrior presentation. ON Friday, Sululu will pick us up to go to Maasai lang to visit a school there. We will also meet with a group of Maasai women to learn about what they do and to plant trees with them. On Saturday, we're going to Sundance Lodge for a nature walk and to meet the other Arcadia students who are studying in Arusha now. On Sunday, we go on an all-day safari at Lake Manyara. Monday will be our last day at Miracle Corners. Tuesday, Bette (Dr. Goldstone) and I go on a 1/2 day safari through a company called Green Footprints to hike on Mt. Meru and canoe with hippos and yes...I've been warned that they're quite vicious. After that we'll be jet-setting back through Amsterdam to the good old city of brotherly love. Wow - that is jam packed - isn't it?
